Play the world’s first Major in the Metaverse, The VR Open, at Royal Liverpool, Hoylake now. Available only on Golf5.

The 151st Open commences at Royal Liverpool on the 16th of July and ends on the 23rd of July, 2023.

The VR Open started on the 15th of July and will last for 5 weeks with the final day of play being the 19th of August, 2023 at 11:59pm PDT.

Open Winners

The Open winner will be the Scratch winner.
There’ll also be a winner in each one of the 4 handicap categories.

The overall medal winner of the 2023 VR Open will receive a trophy and tickets to the 152nd open in 2024, and winners from the other categories will receive limited edition VR Open memorabilia.

THE Royal Liverpool

The stunning VR replica of Royal Liverpool, Hoylake has been created using the latest technology in mapping, modelling, textures and material.

Located along the coast of the Wirral Peninsula and nestled amidst sand dunes and natural terrain, Royal Liverpool provides a challenging and picturesque backdrop for VR golfers.

Discover the signature 10th “Far” and 13th “Alps” holes as if you were actually there playing the 7,300 yard revered links course, exclusively on Golf5.

The unique golf experience will include the selected golf courses where The Open is played starting 2023.

More and more courses will be added to
The Open Zone every year.
